Job Description:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities


  • Perform designs and simulation of magneto-optic multi-layer ceramic dielectric layers
  • Perform fabrication and characterization of magneto-optic optical devices


Education & Experience

  • MS Degree in Electrical Engineering with experience of FDTD and ANSYS CAD Tools
  • Hands-on laboratory fabrication skills in clean room micro-scale fabrication tools


Skills

  • Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
  • Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.


Working Conditions

  • This position is onsite
  • Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary


Physical Requirements

  • Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
  • Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
  • Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
