Description: Our client is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager for their manufacturing plant on the west side of Springfield MA. The HR Manager will have 1 Direct Report Sr. Generalist and be responsible for supporting & enhancing the organization's talent, culture and functional excellence, while building a strong partnership with the business leaders. Responsibility to oversee the execution of HR processes, policies and programs. This is a very comfortable situation in a plant with low turnover, tenured site leaders and a workforce with high morale. There is an excellent work-life balance. This organization has 35+ locations domestically with a diverse corporate & plant level HR structure. There is plenty of advancement opportunity into regional / multi-site HR Management.

This job will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and Retention while following all Federal, Local and Company requirements
Train site leadership on HR systems and practices
Oversee the execution of the Performance Management Process
Provide input to and support Total Rewards, Compensation and Benefit Program
Evaluate current and future workforce needs using data analytics and direct contact with Leadership, production, and scheduling teams.
Identify training and development opportunities and support the implementation of improvement plans through coaching and feedback
Ensure HR systems maintain integrity and data accuracy
Support the culture and core values, drive engagement and overall positive employee experience through strong change management and communication
Lead, manage team including performance, goals, and all personnel processes
Responsible along with leadership team for all Employee relations
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or organizational development
Five (5) years of HR experience - preferable in a manufacturing organization.
2-3 Years in a Leadership position, managing Direct Reports
SHRM / PHR certifications a plus.
Solid working knowledge of HR processes and related manufacturing.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook
