Location: Rock Hill, SC Area


The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role involves conducting safety training, inspections, and audits, as well as investigating incidents and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:


•Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.


•Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.


•Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.


•Conduct safety training sessions for employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).


•Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.


•Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.


•Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.


•Prepare and present safety reports to management.


Qualifications:


•Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.


•Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.


•Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.


•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


•Ability to conduct effective training sessions and presentations.


•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


•Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, ASP) is a plus.
