Our client is seeking a System and Network Administrator to join our Space Systems Verification and Test team. In this role, you will contribute to the hardening, deployment, automation, setup, and readiness of Special Test Equipment in factory and launch environments.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide factory floor support to multiple programs, including defining and documenting test setups, deploying test software and configurations, troubleshooting, and coordinating program requests.


• Develop, implement, and sustain tools that enable product security requirements.


• Utilize agile methodologies to plan, execute, and track product security statements of work.


• Develop and enhance system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements.


• Configure and ensure the security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for product design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support.

Work Schedule:


This position supports a 24/7 test operation and requires flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and alternate shifts to meet program objectives. This role is 100% onsite.


Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or equivalent experience.


• Current CompTIA Security+ certification.


• Current CompTIA Network+ certification.


• Experience with operating systems such as Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, and Cisco IOS.


• Experience with VMWare virtualization.


• Experience with enterprise storage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITIL 4 certification.


• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.


• Experience in satellite test and STE operations readiness.


• Experience in cybersecurity.


• Experience with RedHat and Oracle Linux servers, Windows XP - Windows 7, 10, 11 OS, and network-based storage systems.


• Experience certifying PTEX (Payload Test Executive) and MTEX (Modular Test Executive) test servers.


• Experience certifying Automated Test Controller (ATC) server and client.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree with typically 5 or more years of experience in an engineering classification, or a master's degree with typically 3 or more years of experience, or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
