Location: San Antonio, TX

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 3



This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Enhancing and developing non-recurring build plans to support aircrafts during storage/re-activation/pre-flight activity
  
  
  • Review jobs and assist with the build by identifying the proper tools, processes, and sequences.
  
  
  • Shipside support to identify process improvements and answer build questions
  
  
  • Coordination with Engineering functions on new and open nonconformances
  
  
  • Coordination with 787 Engineering Teams, including Everett and South Carolina Flightline.
  
  
  • Support airplane induction activities to/from San Antonio
  
  


• Review and support any open baseline SOW that needs completed
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• • Must have a Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an ABET accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry and applicable experience in a professional exempt engineering classification, or equivalent education and experience.
  
  
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering in Aerospace
  
  
  • 1+ years of experience supporting any Boeing Commercial Airplane program (737, 767, 777, 787).
  
  
  • Ability to support 1st and 2nd shift including weekends on a rotating basis
