Rooms Intern

Job Description

The participant will become proficient in the guest room standards and operating procedures of the department through observation and shadowing in the public spaces of the hotel and guest rooms. The participant will become proficient in and aware of the differences involved in different areas and different shifts. The Rooms rotation will provide the participant with a solid background covering the necessary skills to maintain the hotel's guest rooms, inspect guest rooms, as well as proper use and safety procedures for chemicals and legal responsibilities for guest safety.

-A university degree or vocational training or job-related course work; Certificate in culinary arts or relevant field
-Two years' experience as a Cook/Line Cook in a resort or fine dining setting
-Knowledge of world class hospitality and service
-Valid Food Handler's License

Pay Range

Pay Rate $18.00/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and job-specific experience/overall experience.
