Your Role:



This is an exciting opportunity to be the direct financial advisor to the Diagnostics & Regulated Materials Business Unit. As a Financial Analyst, you will report to the Head of Controlling - SLS DxRM. In your role, you will provide financial decision support on various operational and strategic matters impacting the achievement of business objectives. This role includes, but not limited to, analyzing monthly financial results, forecasts, financial deep dive, Strategy Development preparation, and R&D portfolio management. You will support resource allocation decisions, manage critical processes and financing reporting, and develop business case for new investment opportunity. The ideal candidate is a strong team player collaborating across departments & business partner, leveraging strong financial and business acumen in order to steer the business.



Who You Are:




Minimum Qualifications:



  • Degree in accounting/finance with 2+ years of relevant accounting, budgeting, general ledger, financial planning and financial system experience.

  • Understanding and application of financial principles, concepts, practices and standards.




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Good business acumen, judgment, and knowledge of products and industry trends.

  • Robust business analysis, financial planning, and reporting skills that generate business insights and add measurable value. Seeking to understand issues at a deeper or broader level.

  • Knowledge of digital tools e.g., ERP systems, TM1, Tableau, advanced Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Strong communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills in English.

  • Good at workload prioritization, efficiency improvement, and resource management.

  • Strong abilities to interact with stakeholders including senior management.

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed, cross-functional, and international environment. Abilities to create network across departments and geographies with team spirit.

  • Change Agent - willing to evaluate the status quo and take action to change when necessary. Willing to recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
