Your Role
The Senior Associate Quality Control Scientist is responsible for the timely and accurate testing of kits, reagents and raw materials to support immunoassay kits including Multiplex, ELISA, RIA, CellSignaling, and SMC in the Immunoassay Platform Solutions group.
Shift: 8am-4:30pm.
Ensure quality throughout the process.
Assure you are adequately trained to perform tasks/assignments.
Perform multi-disciplined, established processes, assays and/or lab operations, primarily those requiring a higher level of skill and knowledge.
Complete the volume of work required to achieve group/departmental goals and meet deadlines.
Contribute to support functions of the lab (e.g., maintain equipment, prepare reagents, restock lab supplies, waste disposal).
Communicate the status of operations and bring deviations to the attention of supervisor.
Provide complete and accurate records consistent with quality guidelines.
Ensure all applicable logbooks have been filled out completely as required by current procedures.
Interact with other departments as needed.
Participate as needed in quality audits.
Accurately perform procedure independently.
Identify problems and limitations of analysis.
Perform routine troubleshooting.
Review of final assays and procedures.
Improve processes through application of scientific knowledge, experience, and principles incompliance with change control procedures.
Identify opportunities and participate in process improvements, review impact of changes and document all work.
Take the necessary action to resolve any unsafe conditions.
Train personnel and act as a technical consultant as needed.
Perform analytical testing and interpret the results.
Supply information based on experience and knowledge.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering or other life science discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience within a life science manufacturing environment, with scientific knowledge of immunological based biomolecular assays
