We are seeking a Technical Contract Recruiter in a full-time capacity for an initial 6-month contract to support technical hiring at YETI in Austin, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and recruiting top-tier technical talent who has expertise in system integrations, architecture design, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise-level solutions. You will collaborate with hiring managers, engineering leaders, and cross-functional teams to ensure we attract the best candidates to meet the evolving needs of the business. Individuals must be based in Austin, Texas and have full-cycle technical recruiting experience with exceptional skills in sourcing passive candidates, selling the YETI story, negotiating and closing offers, and managing a complex and diverse client group.
Responsibilities:
Develop strong relationships with various hiring managers at all levels and establish recruiting strategies that fill existing and future openings.
Ability to work at the executive level managing client relationships and expectations.
Proactively communicate with client groups, candidates and talent team providing timely updates on recruiting progress and challenges.
Create and enhance job descriptions ensuring that they are clear, concise, relevant, and effective in attracting relevant candidates.
Manage the entire recruiting life cycle from intake session through offer management.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive talent pools to ensure your recruiting strategies align with market needs.
Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of our company's technical environment and challenges, ensuring you present accurate and compelling opportunities to potential candidates.
Maintain a high standard of candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-ups.
Manage all open requisitions via Workday ensuring that all data is updated and accurate.
Creatively assisting in team's talent brand, sourcing, and recruiting strategies identifying opportunities that will help attract the best talentin the market.
Qualifications and Attributes:
Bachelor'sDegree preferred
At least 6 years of experience in full cycle technical recruiting, with a focus on Engineering, Data, Integrations, Systems, Architecture, or related technical fields.
Strong understanding of system architecture principles, integrations, APIs, cloud platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud), and relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, SAP, Supply Chain Systems, HRIS, marketing automation, analytics tools, data warehousing).
Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and convey complex technical concepts in an understandable way.
Willingness to support other departments and functions outside of Technology when bandwidth permits.
Familiarity with modern sourcing tools, applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred), and talent management platforms.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and internal teams.
A passion for technology and innovation, and an interest in staying ahead of industry trends.
Extensive experience using LinkedIn Recruiter to identify passive candidates.
Must be comfortable with frequent changing priorities.
Ability to manage various processes while maintaining a high attention to detail.
Must currently reside in Austin, Texas.
