Volt is immediately hiring for HR Director in Orange, CA.


Compensation: $130,000 - 155,000 Annual Salary (Depending on Experience)

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

This is a Full-Time/Direct Hire opportunity.


Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with experience in a manufacturing/plant environment preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with California law and payroll requirements.
• Experience driving a safety culture and improving safety metrics.
• Extensive knowledge of California and federal employment laws.
• Experience with HRIS systems; proficiency with ADP or similar systems is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a detail-oriented work style.

As an HR Director you will:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the business strategy.
• Serve as a liaison between management and employees.
• Provide guidance to management on HR-related issues.
• Work with the management team on quarterly board presentations.
• Manage the HR budget and analyze data trends.
• Build morale and improve workplace relationships.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, particularly California law.
• Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment and hiring.
• Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including health benefits and the 401(k) plan.
• Develop training programs to support employee development.
• Assist with the HR aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and integrations.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop the HR team.
