Job Description:

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated Payroll/Accounting Specialist to join their team in California. This role is essential in ensuring smooth payroll operations and accurate accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process union payroll efficiently and accurately.


• Prepare and submit DIR reporting as required.


• Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and policies.


• Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain accurate financial records.


• Assist in month-end closing processes and reconciliation of accounts.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in payroll processing, especially within union environments.


• Familiarity with DIR reporting and related compliance requirements.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Hours:



The position requires standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
