Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated Payroll/Accounting Specialist to join their team in California. This role is essential in ensuring smooth payroll operations and accurate accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
Manage and process union payroll efficiently and accurately.
Prepare and submit DIR reporting as required.
Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and policies.
Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain accurate financial records.
Assist in month-end closing processes and reconciliation of accounts.
Requirements:
Proven experience in payroll processing, especially within union environments.
Familiarity with DIR reporting and related compliance requirements.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Hours:
The position requires standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
