Our client is seeking a dynamic and innovative Technical/Business Analyst to join their New Product Development team. This role is a unique blend of technical and business acumen, with a focus on actuarial modeling and systems projects within the annuity product space.
As a Technical/Business Analyst, you will collaborate with a diverse team of analysts, developers, project managers, and subject matter experts to ensure product development aligns with contractual and regulatory requirements, thereby minimizing reputational risk. You will be part of a fast-paced project team, working with demanding stakeholders and driving the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Authoring user stories and creating calculation requirements
Developing and implementing test strategies
Supporting the quality assurance team in test planning and execution
Proactively addressing open questions and risks
Guiding team members in execution based on available information
The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate high-level concepts into requirements or test strategies. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with individuals at all levels, from project teams to executive sponsors.
