Position Overview
Wintrust is looking for an information security DLP analyst that will help protect sensitive information by supporting the design, implementation, administration, troubleshooting, and support of Data Security Program technologies. The individual in this role will mature the Data Security Programs use of technologies including telemetry, alerting, agent distribution, and response management.
What You’ll Do
Assist in the design, implementation and oversight of data loss prevention techniques.
Monitor and analyze DLP logs to identify potential data breaches or violations of DLP policies.
Provide user education for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards.
Design, document, and oversee a minimum viable baseline of security requirements and controls.
Utilize subject matter knowledge and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, and business continuity.
Qualifications
1+ years of information security experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. And 1+ years in Data Loss Prevention/ Data Protection experience or in technical security engineering roles
Experience in creating and managing metrics related to data security or data loss prevention as well as leading design and implementation of security techniques
Some knowledge and understanding of data security controls including configuration, endpoint DLP, data exfiltration risk vectors, internet proxies, hardware device control management, and log management solutions such as Splunk
Cloud Data Protection or Cloud DLP implementation experience
Demonstrate the ability to provide written and verbal communications to management to address real-time issues and incidents, advanced problem-solving skills, ability to develop effective long-term solutions to complex problems

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $71,000.00 - $92,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
