Reporting to the Administrator, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health (DPBH), this role is focused on ensuring the strategic and financial success of the DPBH in the provision of departmental finances, with focus on research finances. This position's responsibilities are guided by the overall strategic direction set forth by the COM as well as the DPBH senior leadership team. The Manager will oversee the daily financial operations which includes ensuring the department is in compliance with OSU and COM financial policies, tracking departmental expenses, providing research costs of ancillary services as needed to study teams for research project budgeting and monthly financial reporting. The Manager will work cross-functionally across multiple teams that interact with DPBH.
Additional Information:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred
B.S. in Accounting/ Finance/ Business Administration or related field; Master in related field preferred; 4 years experience in a finance role, preferably within a research or hospital setting or equivalent combination of education training & experience. Experience with Grants management desired.
