Treasury/Corporate Accountant
Paramus, NJ
Full Time in office
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
2-3 years of experience as an Accountant preferred
This is not a remote or hybrid position
Position Overview:
Coach USA, one of the largest transportation companies in North America, is seeking an entry level Treasury/Corporate Accountant to support the businesses of our various companies. This person will perform various daily treasury management functions, work on elements of the month-end close, assist with budget preparation and updates, and assist with audits. This person will support the Corporate Controller and Senior VP of Finance, and bring a high energy, motivated work ethic to an established team of finance professionals.
Essential Functions:
- Analyze daily cash transactions and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
- Support daily cash management activities across banking portals, ensuring efficient and accurate processing
- Serve as the primary treasury liaison with other departments and subsidiary business units, addressing bank inquiries and operational issues
- Prepare journal entries and perform general ledger review for monthly close process
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
- Liaise with external auditors and financing counterparties, responding to requests for information in support of audits and tax preparation
- Manage the company credit card process
- Maintain complete adherence to internal processes, protocols and controls
- Performs special projects and other duties as needed
Required Skills:
- Ability to work independently

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field
- Solid understanding of accounts payable, receivables, cash management, intercompany accounting, and fixed asset accounting
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Understanding of internal controls and reconciliations
- Some experience using Oracle E-Business Suite preferred
