Position Summary

Mitutoyo America Corporation, leader in Metrology solutions, is looking for an Order Estimates Clerk to prepare pricing estimates for calibration & repair services.  Enter new orders and follow up on existing orders. This is an excellent opportunity to interact with customers and utilize other administrative skills.

What You'll Do: 


  • Prepare estimates for customers for calibration & repair services.

  • Receive and enter orders into the computer system. Setup and maintain files for service and complete calibration & repair orders.

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding calibration & repair status, shipping, and invoicing.

  • Provide calibration & repair account and credit information to Accounts Receivable Department.

  • Assist customers, distributors, and regional offices with questions regarding calibration & repair invoicing.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:  Repair laboratory, where the incumbent is exposed to chemicals.  Warehouse Environment; low-noise level.

Physical Demands: The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office, calibration lab, and warehouse to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position.  Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 5:00PM.

Travel: There is no travel for this position.

Required Education and Experience: High school Education or equivalent; additional specialized training. One-year experience.
