Job Description:

Leidos QTC Health Services is hiring a Chief of Staff to report directly to our CEO.


The Chief of Staff role is an outstanding opportunity for a high-potential professional seeking a role with broad exposure across Leidos QTC Health Services. This position will report directly to the Leidos QTC Health Services CEO and will be responsible for planning, carrying out and streamlining all business rhythms inside of Leidos QTC Health Services and coordination of our business rhythms with our parent company Leidos.  Business rhythms include operational and strategic efforts for Leidos QTC Health Services and the Leidos Health & Civil Sector.  Specific responsibilities will include coordination and oversight of Leidos QTC Health Services meetings, events, and daily activities that drive and align business operating rhythms with the strategic planning and business execution process.


 Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Developing and implementing project plans for improvement initiatives, working to track and ensure timely closure of action items, and managing day-to-day activities.

  • Tracking high priority initiatives and ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan. 

  • Making recommendations and reports on status of projects, priorities, meetings and other areas of oversight.  

  • Preparing, reviewing and editing briefing materials supporting Leidos QTC Health Services and Leidos presentations 

  • Maintaining responsibility for working with Leidos QTC Health Services and Leidos events teams to plan and execute on necessary meetings to include offsite events.

  • Facilitating logistics and agenda for key business events to include Monthly Strategic Operations Reviews and Leadership Summits.

  • Developing relationships with senior level management and keeping them informed of the Leidos QTC Health Services/Leidos Health planning calendars and other items related to CEO priorities. 

  • Interfacing extensively with senior leadership.  Interactions may involve sensitive business topics, controversial situations, or influencing and persuading other senior level managers. 

  • Managing CEO in-person and/or virtual visits to company sites/employee engagement events to maximize impact.  

  • Keeping abreast of business strategy, market knowledge and other customer and community focused events/activities in order to prioritize/maximize the CEO exposure to key customers; support key account planning.  

  • Carrying out and supporting other operational projects as assigned by the CEO.

  • Highly experienced with project coordinating and management.

  • Self-motivated and self-sufficient.

  • Ability to work collaboratively up and down and across the organization as well as with both functional and operational personnel.

  • Ability to travel as required

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Experience with Tableau preferred but not required.


Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)



  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college preferably in a healthcare related field or equivalent experience/combined education; Advanced degree preferred

  • Project Management experience, highly desired

  • 10+ years of relevant experience and leadership responsibilities in a line or functional organization.

  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) background investigation

Pay Range: $140,000 – $220,000

This role may fall under the Service Contract Act (SCA), a federal law which provides for a U.S. Department of Labor-prescribed minimum prevailing rate of pay and certain benefit levels.
