The Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue and gross profit opportunities by managing the sales process for permanent installations in Austin and surrounding areas. This position is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing salespeople. Reporting to the General Manager-Perm Fence, the Sales Manager works directly with Estimators and Field Superintendents to ensure all customer needs are met in a timely manner. This position has a hybrid work environment with a base salary plus incentive compensation plan.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Manage bid review and proposal process for commercial fence installations, ensuring quality and outstanding customer serviceEngage with and facilitate bids with a team of Estimators, Field Superintendents, and Independent Contractor fence installersManage top 25 Account Strategy, by maintaining contact with top account contacts and key decision makersParticipate in face to face construction related networking trade association events and other opportunities to develop relationship with top 25 AccountsDrive growth strategy into adjacent marketsExecute product and pricing strategies with guidance from General ManagerReview scope of work on large commercial projects to ensure the proposal clearly captures all scope of workEnsure invoicing and material requirements to ensure Jobs-in-Process are managed in a timely fashion; Coordinate ongoing communication with Operations Team supporting divisionResponsible for customer satisfaction; resolving any customer disputes or service-related issues Drive management initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence, such as improvements to the bid management processWork with Supply Chain team and yard/warehouse personnel to meet the needs of customers and fence installation contractorsPerform other related duties as assigned
