Kinder Morgan CO2 Company is currently seeking a Well Operations Supervisor for its Well Operations Group in Snyder, Texas. Kinder Morgan CO2 Company is a supplier of CO2 and an operator of enhanced oil recovery projects in West Texas. Its operations include a large CO2 source field, an extensive CO2 transmission and delivery system and production operations in a large existing CO2 flood. The Well Operations Supervisor will be responsible for providing on site guidance, planning and SAFE execution of workover operations. The Well Ops Group is responsible for well completions, workover of producing, injection and disposal wells within the SACROC Unit near Snyder, Texas.
Position Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate well servicing crews, as well as other third party contractors, including: perforating, logging, acidizing, cementing, and sub-surface equipment installation.
Complete and submit timely and accurate daily reports of work performed including detailed time logs and expenditures for multiple rigs in WellView.
Ensure well control, technical and compliance training is current.
Exhibit high priority for EHS. Constantly promote and require safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
Work closely with Production Engineers on day-to-day operational issues.
Recommend and seek cost reductions and efficiencies.
Implement detailed well work prognosis for well programs that satisfy asset objectives and demonstrate compliance with policies and regulations.
Be proactive in anticipating challenges and be quick and effective when reacting to issues.
Position Requirements
Strong computer skills in WellView, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must be able to work with a team, take directions from supervisor(s), and focus attention to details.
Must be self-motivated and capable of working with limited direct supervision.
Must be capable of completing and tracking multiple tasks simultaneously, and often under tight deadlines.
Must have a track record of recent experience as a Well Site Supervisor, Reverse Unit Operator or other pertinent experience involving sub-surface equipment.
Must possess a valid drivers license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.
Must be flexible to support extended operations beyond a normal 10-hour day when required.
