Position Summary
The Director of IT serves as the strategic liaison in a multi-location, multi-company environment between the IT function and core business units, driving alignment of digital and technology initiatives with organizational goals. This position is responsible for ensuring that IT solutions meet the operational and strategic needs of the business, Terrasmart, facilitating collaboration between stakeholders, and delivering on key IT projects personally, through direct reports, and/or 3rd party service providers. Reporting to the Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO) of Gibraltar Industries, this role focuses on leveraging digital transformation opportunities to enhance business processes and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead IT services and collaborate with business teams to understand and meet operational needs.
• Manage the IT roadmap and annual IT budget for Terrasmart.
• Supervise IT projects, ensure alignment with business objectives, and drive digital adoption.
• Oversee relationships with third-party vendors and consultants.
• Manage disaster recovery plans and IT compliance (SOX, security).
• Foster collaboration with Gibraltar's Enterprise IT function for shared services.
• Supervise IT staff and consultants, and contribute to hiring, training, and performance management.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of IT experience, including overseeing IT teams.
• 5 years of experience with CRM (Salesforce), Business Intelligence (Microsoft Fabric), iPaaS, and CAD/CAM software (Procore preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP, Office apps, and IT infrastructure.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
