The Opportunity

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and providing expert level project management guidance - initially starting with Gibraltar's ERP Consolidation program to SAP and ultimately leading to other digital transformation projects. You will be tasked with challenging situations every day and coordinating high profile projects across multiple teams. Candidates must be willing to roll up their sleeves and have a high level of ownership and accountability throughout the entire project life cycle. This position requires strong leadership, organization and communication skills and significant experience managing design, development, testing, implementation, integration, and operations of projects. The Senior Project Manager:


  • Plans, directs, and manages delivery of SAP implementation projects in conjunction with the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications
  • Works with project team to define scope and goals, project time frame, and budget
  • Develops and maintains project plan and timeline - identifying interdependencies and key activities on the critical path.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget
  • Reviews project status with project personnel and modifies schedules and plans as required.
  • Oversees the issues and risk register - proactively coordinating team members to ensure that risks do not evolve into issues and that issues don't linger to impact the timeline.
  • Establishes and executes a project communication plan
  • Identifies change management opportunities and helps to delivery communication/training that helps the team to overcome the change events
  • Prepares weekly project status reports and leads the report out of the team and sponsor status meetings
  • Monitors project results against project scope
  • Directs the development of quality assurance test plans and user acceptance test plans.

What we need


  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent qualification with demonstrated competency
  • 7 Years of experience in project management role (preferably with ERP projects)
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Experience in manufacturing or similar environment preferred
