We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead a team in developing new manufacturing processes while optimizing existing ones. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical process development capabilities with lean manufacturing expertise to drive innovation and efficiency in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Process Development & Implementation:
-Design and develop new manufacturing and assembly processes from concept to implementation
-Create detailed process flow diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
-Specify and source new equipment and tooling for manufacturing processes
-Develop fixtures and custom solutions to improve assembly efficiency
-Calculate cycle times and establish labor standards for new processes
-Design and implement error-proofing (poka-yoke) systems 7. Validate new processes through testing and pilot runs

Continuous Improvement:
-Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives
-Analyze existing processes to identify optimization opportunities
-Implement LEAN manufacturing principles across operations
-Develop and maintain standard work procedures
-Train production staff on new processes and lean methodologies

Technical Leadership:
-Provide technical support for manufacturing operations
-Troubleshoot complex process issues
-Manage process improvement projects
-Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability
-Create and maintain process documentation and technical specifications
-Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
-5+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering
-Proven experience developing and implementing new manufacturing processes
-Strong background in lean manufacturing principles and Kaizen methodologies
-Proficiency in CAD software and process simulation tools
-Experience with automated assembly systems and robotics
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
-Excellent project management capabilities
-Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
-Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
-Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and implementation
-Background in process automation and controls
-Experience with time studies and line balancing

Technical Skills:
-CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
-Process simulation tools
-Microsoft Office Suite
-Statistical analysis software
-PLCs and automation controls (basic understanding)
-Manufacturing execution systems (MES)
