This full-time leadership role offers a competitive salary between $75,000 and $85,000, along with the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Lead and manage all business office operations, including billing, collections, and financial reporting
  


• Provide direct supervision and mentorship to the Assistant Business Office Manager
  


• Oversee VA billing and collections, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal regulations


• Manage billing processes related to Medicare, Medi-Cal, HMOs, private insurance, and CalAIM programs


• Ensure timely and accurate processing of claims, payments, and reimbursements


• Monitor accounts receivable (A/R) aging reports, identifying and resolving outstanding balances


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident admissions, financial planning, and discharge processes
  


• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and company policies, including regulatory requirements related to healthcare finance


• Serve as the point of contact for audits and financial reviews, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete

• 
  Proven experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) billing and collections, with strong knowledge of VA billing
  


• In-depth understanding of Medicare, Medi-Cal, CalAIM, and managed care billing processes


• 
  Leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare business office setting


• Proficiency in financial software and billing systems commonly used in long-term care


• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  


• Excellent communication abilities, with a focus on team collaboration and customer service
