The Finished Vehicles cost Constraint Analysist will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and movement of finished vehicles within the yard, ensuring efficient load prioritization, minimizing aging inventory, and optimizing process flow. This role involves working closely with logistics, finance, and operations teams to manage routing, costs, and performance metrics while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Yard Coordination & Load Prioritization: Monitor vehicles in the yard to prioritize shipments and reduce aging inventory.
Routing & Special Transport Activities: Manage nonstandard routing and special transportation (ST) activities within the network.
Logistics & Cost Coordination: Work closely with logistics yard support teams to align on the Scope of Work and cost control measures.
Cost Analysis & Financial Collaboration: Develop cost studies to support decision-making and work with finance teams on cost efficiency measures.
Process Improvement & Bottleneck Reduction: Identify strategies to minimize bottlenecks and improve process flow within the yard.
Performance Metrics & KPI Management: Track, analyze, and root cause key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence.
