Ensight is currently looking for a Process Application Engineer to join our growing team! Our Process Application Engineer is an integral part of the Sales team within Ensight Solutions, LLC. They are trusted to focus on growing sales for our A-One and Bridge product lines by keeping an eye on relevance and innovation for our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create a mixing database by product, viscosity, and by type for future equipment design and selection process.
Assist with all new customer supplied mixing test, along with proper documentation of testing results.
Help with new product development and testing
Learn the food science as it applies to mixing
Help with quoting
Support Sales efforts by offering technical support based on application
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or similar technology; 5+ years of technical experience may substitute.
Specialized Knowledge and Experience
At least 5 years' manufacturing experience.
At least 5 years' experience in the protein food sector.
Demonstrable project management, sales and support skills.
Experience using AutoCAD/Inventor 3D
Understanding of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics a plus)

Microsoft Word - proficient level
Microsoft Excel - proficient level
Microsoft PowerPoint - proficient level
Microsoft Outlook - proficient level
Microsoft Project - beginner level, preferred
Other Skills
Technical competency, in engineering preferred
Technical writing skills - to aid in developing the database
Ability to interact competently with clients and coworkers at all levels of the organization.
Requires the verbal skills to probe and ask questions to ensure understanding of requirements, participate in teams, and communicate technical issues to non-technical personnel.
Must be able to interact professionally, appropriately, and courteously with customers, co-workers and other outside parties.
