We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. This position will perform a wide range of tasks to build and repair a variety of electromechanical devices.
Job Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of production operations
Operates machinery and equipment
Maintains quality control
Sets up and organizes work area and obtains material, supplies and equipment
Maintains premises in a clean and orderly fashion and makes minor repairs
Completes required paperwork
Assists in coordination and delegation of work
Installs, repairs, modifies and calibrates equipment used in the production or repair of electronics
Performs preventative maintenance
Responsible for safety features and quality of items above
Test and troubleshoot circuit boards, assemblies, and final systems to the component level
Create, update and document test procedures
Perform simple repairs and component removal or replacement
Basic surface mount modification and rework
Analyze consistency, completeness and accuracy of collected data to ensure system reliability
Supports the Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering team as needed
Requirements
AA degree in Electronics or equivalent
Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
Knowledge of and skill level to trouble shoot electronics problems
Knowledge of general electronics (DC, AC, RF, Logic)
Knowledge of satellite & radio telemetry data communication technologies
Skilled in the use of standard test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, DMM)
Experience with PIC Programming Platforms (MPLAB, Quickwriter)
Mechanically inclined
Surface Mount Soldering skills, preferred
Minimum 2 years of previous work experience in an Electronic/Manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to lift, bend, twist, walk, and reach frequently
Ability to perform repetitious duties while standing or sitting for long periods of time.
Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. regularly

This is an on-site opportunity that must be done from our location in Hayward, CA
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. This position is part of the Teamsters Local 853 union and requires membership.
Starting pay is $30.28 (After 90-day probation, pay increases to $31.03)
Shift: 4 10-hour days (Mon-Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.)
Must become a member of the Teamsters Local 853 union
