Job Description:

As a career level Technical Business Analyst for Equifax, you will be responsible for the requirements gathering, requirements documentation, and implementation of short and long-term solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure. You will be often involved in modifying or adapting existing designs based on functional requirements gathered. You will review technology requirements and business processes along with test and debug software solutions.

In this role, you will support development, operations and enhancement related initiatives centered around the processing of our Enterprise Workforce Solutions (EWS) Unemployment Claims. This team member will support the migration from a legacy to Cloud / AI services platform AND will also maintain the platform once migrated. In this role, you will capture and document business requirements using scanning and imaging technology in a clear and concise manner, serving as a crucial reference for developers and other project stakeholders. You will analyze key business metrics to devise plans for improvement and communicate findings and suggestions to key stakeholders.


  • This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.
  • This position can be based in Saint Louis, MO. This resource should be local to St. Louis and able to work in our "Rider Trail" location in Saint Louis, MO.
  • Corporate Return To Office expectations: Onsite weekly requirements each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.

What you'll do

  • Develop functional specifications that satisfy client requirements (large scale).
  • Collaborate with team members and internal / other stakeholders in reviewing and refining requirements. Capture and refine requirements across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Actively address issues; setting priorities when appropriate.
  • Lead production deployment planning.
  • Guide and mentor junior business analysts.
  • Serve as lead for system validations, running demos, and managing stakeholder expectations on delivery.
  • Serve as SME for ongoing stakeholder support with applications.
  • Understand best practice methodologies for providing solution.

What experience you need

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 5-7 years experience as a Technical Business Analyst or has held a similar position
  • Diverse technology / program management experience required (in global and enterprise environments strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects end to end (simultaneous projects included) while keeping stakeholders updated and engaged throughout.

  • Scanning & Imaging tool experience (Captiva,, etc)
  • Unemployment Claims domain experience
  • Experience working with other projects leveraging Google AI solutions
  • Ability to review requirements and create and execute test cases, document and evaluate test results, report and track defects and helps troubleshoot errors
  • Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred
