JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for all cardiovascular imaging services at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital (Fuqua and 275), North Fulton Imaging Center, Hammond Imaging Center, Rockdale Imaging Center for echocardiography, MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine to include: personnel, budget and equipment management, P.I. activities, policies and procedures, strategic planning and marketing activities. Directing preparation of annual capital, operational, and FTE budgets; responsible to ensure effective monitoring and judicious utilization of resources; performing contract negotiations with vendors. Ensuring the provision of quality and providing leadership in process improvement. Providing leadership and support to all Cardiovascular (CV) Imaging department management team members. Promoting communication across imaging and other departments. Actively participate and informally lead efforts to identify and implement opportunities to integrate and optimize CV Imaging across the health system.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Ensures that administrative and operational processes occur daily and an on an ongoing basis. 2. Provides human resources management. 3. Provides operational direction. 4. Provides strategic direction. 5. Markets services and programs to enhance utilization and awareness. 6. Measures quality and outcomes to ensure the provision of quality patient care services. 7. Promotes service excellence. 8. Communicates with others. Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor degree in Radiology/CV Imaging or Health Sciences field required. Master of Business Administration or Health Administration preferred. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of five (5) years imaging technical or RN experience and a minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience. Experience with a focus in Cardiovascular preferred. MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in good standing. (ARRT) Advanced modality certification(s) in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine or Ultrasonography preferred. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working with hospital inpatient, hospital outpatient, and ambulatory imaging services preferred.
