Cook at Compass Health Network in O'Fallon, Missouri

Job Description:

Compensation: $16.45 hourly

Prepares and services well-seasoned, attractive, appetizing meals to consumers and employees, according to established policy and procedures.

This is a part-time position working Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday, Day shift.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - JOB SPECIFIC

*Keep kitchen clean and up to state codes and regulations
*Clean once a week: fruit box, breadbox, cabinets, and drawers and shelves in the refrigerator
*Date and label all open items in the refrigerator
*Throw away all food items over three days old
*Buy and prepare meals for clients according to dietary menus
*Keep a three (3) day food supply in house at all times
*Coordinate with evening staff and purchase all food items needed for special occasions or events
*Transport clients as needed
*Attend all training as required by Compass Health Network, Accreditors and Funders
*Regular attendance (except as excused)

WORKING CONDITIONS & EXPOSURE RISK

*Regular exposure to blood and/or body fluids
*Regular exposure to biohazard and/or chemical waste materials

• High School/GED preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE

• At least one (1) year experience in a related field, specifically working with persons with a developmental disability and/or mental illness, preferred
