Knowesis, a dynamic and forward-thinking company, is currently seeking a Federal Capture Manager for Analytics and Information Management to join our team.

The Federal Capture Manager for Analytics & Information Management is responsible for leading the capture strategy for federal government opportunities within the analytics and information management domain. This role requires a deep understanding of federal procurement processes, customer needs, and competitive positioning to drive business growth.

Equally, the successful candidate will have demonstrable subject matter expertise within the Data Science domain space, and be capable of designing solutions for formal solicitations, white papers, and Requests for Information.

 The Capture Manager will work closely with business development to establish and manage the company’s analytics pipeline and lead proposal teams to develop and execute winning strategies.

 The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:   


  • Develop and implement capture strategies for federal analytics and information management opportunities.

  • Identify and qualify new opportunities through market research, customer engagement, and competitive analysis.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key federal agencies, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Lead the development of value propositions, win themes, and competitive differentiators.

  • Manage the capture process, including teaming arrangements, solutioning exercises, pricing strategies, and proposal development.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between capture efforts and company capabilities.

  • Oversee pipeline development and tracking to ensure strategic pursuit of opportunities.

  • Stay informed on federal acquisition trends, regulations, and agency priorities.

  • Present capture strategies and progress updates to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications:   


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in federal capture management, business development, or a related field.

  • Proven track record of successfully capturing and winning federal contracts in analytics and information management.

  • Established Business to Government (B2G) (Contract Officers, Clients) and B2B relationships.

  • Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, including FAR/DFARS regulations.

  • Experience leading capture efforts for opportunities valued at $30M+.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and pipeline management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working with federal agencies such as DoD, DHS, HHS, or civilian agencies.

  • Knowledge of emerging trends in data analytics, AI/ML, and information management.

  • Existing relationships with key decision-makers within federal agencies.
