Freight fraud schemas are ever evolving and require constant evolution of process and thoroughness in carrier quality review. This role will be part of our carrier onboarding team that owns the intake workflows, compliance screens, fraud checks, and overall carrier assessments to determine which carriers should be allowed on the platform. This role is dynamic and requires attention to detail, process oriented mindset, strong decision making abilities, and the ability to determine risk level of carriers through subjective criteria. This role will support strategic initiatives that are aimed at improving the space and will provide frontline feedback to inform product and StratOps asks. This role requires the ability to make very difficult decisions on carrier quality based on investigations and collecting key insights, and those decisions will have severe business implications given the impact of potential fraud.
What the Candidate Will Do
Be a subject matter expert on carrier compliance, risk, and quality
Be a subject matter expert on fraud prevention and carrier onboarding
Be a subject matter expert on the tooling utilized for carrier review and onboarding
Make critical decision on carrier risk using subjective information
Conduct thorough carrier investigations using multiple data sources
Execute urgent onboarding workflows with hyper focus on fraud prevention
Meet performance SLAs and quality standards
Be an expert on internal tooling and systems used for operations
Provide feedback to leadership on carrier quality, fraud, and risk trends to inform new initiatives to prevent future incidents
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to support business needs of carrier onboarding and fraud prevention
Execute ad hoc audits and new line of business carrier ingestion
Maintain quality carrier profile management
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 1-2+ years of customer service or account management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years freight experience
Experience in freight prevention & carrier onboarding operations
Excellent operational execution abilities
Bachelor's degree
Experience in a freight fraud or compliance category
