Fixed Assets Analyst



Summary: We are looking for a proactive Fixed Assets Analyst to join our Fixed Assets Accounting team, which operates across the US and India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing and capitalizing fixed assets within a multi-location framework. This role requires ensuring the accurate and timely capitalization of fixed assets and conducting associated analyses of periodic activities.



Responsibilities:

• Assist in periodic, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.


• Prepare journal entries, conduct account analysis, and run period close exception reports.


• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager on project accounting and work cross-functionally with the Finance, IT, and Real Estate teams.


• Provide supporting documentation for quarterly reviews and year-end audits with internal and external auditors.


• Support the Accounting Manager in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes and enhance financial controls.


• Participate in ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical, organizational, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with the Oracle FA Module is preferred.


• A team player who can also work independently.


• Excellent oral and written communication skills.


• Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.


• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• 3+ years of relevant experience and/or training.
