Senior Accountant at The Judge Group Inc. in Northborough, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Location: Northborough, MA

Salary: $110,000.00 USD Annually - $140,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Accountant. This is a permanent, direct hire role, offering a hybrid schedule near Northborough, MA.



Responsibilities:

• 
  


• Assess financial reporting risks; conduct GAAP research.


• Manage 10-Q, 10-K SEC reporting, and assist with earnings releases.


• Oversee data loads and templates for accuracy and trends.


• Research accounting topics; draft memos, presentations, and training.


• Update policies and footnote disclosures for new standards.


• Review lease accounting; address related questions.


• Build relationships with IPG teams, including international controllers and U.S. Finance.


• Coordinate with external auditors and internal resources for audits.


• Assist internal audit with testing plans and SOX compliance.


• Handle ad-hoc projects: business combinations, inventory review, and reporting improvements.


• Mentor and coach less experienced accounting professionals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline; Master's preferred.


• CPA required; 6+ years public accounting and SEC reporting experience.


• Strong problem-solving, financial reporting, and technical accounting skills.


• Effective mentorship, interpersonal, and organizational skills


• Proficient in Excel and business analysis tools.
