Our client, a growing food manufacturer in the Scranton, PA area seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to join their team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop leadership and supervisory skills while contributing to a clean and safe work environment. This person will work closely with the quality department to ensure standards are continuously upkept.

Responsibilities

• Team Member Support: Assist in training and guiding sanitation staff on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.


• Sanitation Tasks: Participate in cleaning and sanitizing equipment, work areas, and facilities as needed.


• Quality Control: Conduct routine inspections to ensure sanitation standards are met.


• Supply Management: Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.


• Communication: Effectively communicate sanitation requirements and expectations to the team.


• Problem-Solving: Identify and report sanitation issues to management.


• Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous experience in a cleaning or sanitation role preferred.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.


• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
