We are looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of an Investment Advisor for Centier Investment Services located at Centier Bank in Merrillville, IN.
Job Description:
SUMMARY:
The Investment Executive will provide exceptional service and investment product knowledge to new and existing customers and prospects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver the highest caliber services to clients by answering general inquiries
Provide investment sales and recommendations based on client objectives and suitability
Conduct sales practices in compliance with all securities, insurance, and banking laws, rules, and regulations
Prepare an annual business plan including sales goals and marketing
Coach, mentor, and help train retail associates for referrals
Use Connections for tracking referrals and prospects
Fulfill all continuing education requirements to keep all required licenses current
Provide reports to branch for referral follow-up and actual sales vs model goals
Prepare sales presentations using only approved literature, proposals, research, and stationery
Maintain client files, records, and data, including comprehensive financial profile
Submit all client correspondence and marketing materials for compliance approval before use
Check all daily paperwork for completeness and accuracy
Follow-up to all inquiries for service or information within 24 hours
Profile clients to seek and anticipate all financial needs and bring in other associates for expertise in other areas
Submit all requests for staffing, equipment and expenses to OSJ for pre-approval.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Self-motivated, with excellent client relationship management skills
Superior presentation, written, and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
Proficient use of Microsoft Office for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations/graphics, and Outlook
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
3 - 5 years of experience in financial services sales position or equivalent.
Series 7, 63 and 65 or 66 and state life and health insurance license required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience. An advanced degree or designation is strongly preferred.
