Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Tacoma, WA!
The Commercial Lines Account Manager position serves as the primary service contact for the client. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will actively manage an assigned book of business, providing day-to-day services including but not limited to renewal and marketing coordination, billing, endorsements, and issuance of appropriate documentation. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will report directly to the Commercial Lines Team Leader.
How You Will Contribute:
Service and maintain an assigned book of business
Provide direct customer service support for commercial lines clients
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of communications and insurance documents as required
Work closely with Producers and Marketing to achieve agreed upon goals for new and renewal business marketing
Develop and foster quality relationships with clients and team members
Review, analyze and resolve policy and coverage-related concerns for clients
Consistently meet all Brown & Brown established quality control Procedures and Timelines
Compile and create proposals, summaries and additional documents as requested
Actively participate in social, civic, and trade organizations to represent Brown & Brown's community/client commitment
Licenses and Certifications:
Property & Casualty insurance license (if not already held, obtain within 30 days of hire).
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
1+ year of experience in the insurance industry with a strong emphasis in commercial lines insurance (Preferred)
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Strategic thinker with ability to act tactically and strong insight into customer needs/wants.
Proficient with management operating systems that support insurance sales, tracking and service.
Proficient with Microsoft Tools, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Pay Range
$55,000 - $70,000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
