Description:
The Judge Group is seeking a Power and Utilities Manager for a manufacturing company located in the Sylacauga, AL area.

Responsibilities:


•Establishing the safety, quality, cost, and operating output of Power & Utilities Operating Plan.


•Achieving production goals, managing performance of direct reports, making sound operational decisions, and troubleshooting customer issues. This role is responsible for


•Day-to-day management of the department's supervisory staff


•Mentoring all utilities' team members on the daily operation and best practices.


•Evaluate, approve, and prioritize equipment repairs and scheduled shutdowns


•Coach and develop technicians to reliably operate equipment and processes working with area leaders from salary level to hourly level.


•Work closely with engineers, technicians, and customers to troubleshoot process, quality and equipment issues and evaluate and implement improvement ideas


•Lead improvements in Utilities process equipment and associated chemical systems.


•Develop, initiate, and execute capital projects with area leaders.


Qualifications:


•Bachelors Degree, Engineering preferred


•5+ years of experience leading a power/utilities team


•Experience in developing and executing capital projects.


•Heavy industrial manufacturing experience
