Employee Relations Specialist




Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN -Hybrid (Tues/ Wed)



**This is a (Part-time role: 20-25 hours per week between 8am-5pm CST)



As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring workplace concerns are addressed promptly and resolved fairly. You'll collaborate with Compliance & Integrity and Legal teams to handle Ethics Line issues prudently, minimizing risk to the organization. Additionally, you'll provide coaching to leaders on the Performance Improvement Process, establish consistent ER practices, track employee relations issues, and contribute to leadership development.



Responsibilities:

• Address workplace concerns in accordance with relevant laws and CHS policies.


• Partner with Compliance & Integrity and Legal to handle Ethics Line issues and participate in investigations.


• Coach leaders on the Performance Improvement Process, including feedback on Improvement Plans.


• Establish consistent processes and tools for handling ER situations.


• Track employee relations issues across Enabling Functions to identify trends and training needs.


• Provide regular status reports to the Enabling Functions HRBP team.


• Make recommendations to enhance leadership capabilities.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of HRBP or related experience.


• 4+ years of direct experience in Employee Relations.


• Knowledge of employment laws and their practical application.


• Project management experience.
