Requirements: Automotive Mfg Quality, IATF Certified, availability for 6+ months
We are an advanced, global powertrain and electric vehicle component manufacturer. Due to company growth, we are adding a skilled and experienced Quality Lead Auditor to the team on a contract basis. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, proven experience in the automotive industry, quality systems and GD&T experience. If you are an IATF Auditor with certification and ability to be on site in Warren for at least 6 months, please read on.
Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Quality Consultant/IATF Lead to oversee and improve our quality processes within the automotive manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance, while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement quality management systems in accordance with IATF standards.
Oversee the PPAP and APQP processes to ensure product compliance and quality.
Lead quality audits and manage corrective actions using methodologies such as 8D.
Conduct supplier quality assessments and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Train and mentor team members in IATF activities, quality assurance practices and methodologies.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in quality management within the automotive manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of quality systems management and IATF 16949 requirements, IATF certification required*
Experience with PPAP, APQP, GD&T, Q1, and process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred).
Excellent leadership and team management skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
Familiarity with metrology and supplier quality management.
