Job Opportunity: Master Control Technician- 19 positions



Our client is currently seeking 19 Master Control Technicians to join their team on a part-time basis in Centennial, Colorado. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about live sports broadcasting, particularly Major League Baseball (MLB).



Position Title: Master Control Technician



Location: Centennial, Colorado



Schedule: Part-time



Required Skills:

• Basic technical skills

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to the field of live sports broadcasting

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with live TV broadcasts

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor broadcast equipment for live events and on-air programming to ensure high-quality audio and video and smooth program execution.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during live broadcasts and monitor on-air video and audio signals.
• Manage signal flow to ensure seamless transmission.
• Coordinate with production teams, directors, and on-air talent.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of live event broadcasts.
• Ensure compliance with all broadcasting regulations and industry standards.
• Execute program, commercial, and marketing changes.
• Support live-event and contingency workflows.
• Monitor and control transmitter output.
• Record programs from satellite feeds for later use.

Project/Team Overview:

• This role is part of the Master Control Origination Team for Live Sports, with a focus on MLB games.
• The team will be responsible for running live MLB games, ensuring smooth and professional broadcasts.
• Technicians will work in a control center and will communicate with a production crew located in a truck on-site at the arena.
• Part-time schedule consists of 4-hour shifts. Technicians are expected to arrive one hour before the game starts and stay through the duration of the game.
• Each technician will sign up to cover specific games, with an expectation of working approximately 20 hours per week, though this may vary.

Interview Process:

• There will be one round of interviews.

Duration:

• The position will last for the duration of the MLB regular season.

Ideal Candidate:

• An ideal candidate will have some experience in live television broadcasting.
• They should be technically inclined, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Good communication skills are essential for coordinating with the production crew and ensuring smooth operations during live broadcasts.
