Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sr. Network Technician/low voltage Project Manager overseeing 3rd party contracting companies. This person will handle some IT related issues at the surrounding facilities, along with overseeing cabling and other general contractor work. Therefore, project management experience is needed.



Role is based Onsite in Casper, WY.



This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Monitor progress on low voltage cabling projects

  • Coordinate contractor schedules around the needs of the hospital
  
  
  • Address QC issues, comparing against our standards
  
  
  • Escalate to leadership where needed
  
  
  
  


• Rack and Stack IT infrastructure equipment


• Rack, Stack, and configure IT IIoT equipment.


• Troubleshoot connectivity issues in network and phone cabling


• Understand / monitor IDF / MDF environmentals and escalate when issues occur


• Assist desktop teams with deployment

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, network cabling, or low-voltage systems.


• Hands-on experience with racking, stacking, and configuring IT and IIoT equipment.


• Strong understanding of structured cabling, including fiber optics and copper-based networks.


• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues, including Ethernet and VoIP systems.


• Familiarity with IDF/MDF environments and ability to monitor and escalate environmental concerns.


• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, cabling plans, and network schematics.


• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.


• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with contractors and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certifications such as BICSI, RCDD, CCNA, or equivalent.


• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment with IT infrastructure.


• Knowledge of IT security best practices for cabling and network environments.
