Overview:

The Ammunition Document Manager oversees the updating and annual publication of DA PAM 350-38 to provide commanders with the training strategies for individual, crew, and collective weapons training and identifies the resources required to execute that training. Standards in weapons training strategies are the basis for determining training ammunition requirements and for providing units the information necessary to forecast training ammunition

Responsibilities:

· Interfaces with training strategy developers, technical writers and assists in studies to determine quantities and types of munitions that Soldiers, crews and units require to attain and sustain weapon proficiency relative to readiness levels.

· Prepare and maintain all system documentation describing software and hardware configuration management, software development process, software testing process, system interfaces, user guides, training materials, computer based training videos, and any other documentation as required by DoD and Army guidance

· Resolves weapons density inconsistencies using U.S. Army Force Management Support Agency resources.

Qualifications:

Required:

· BS, IT, Business Administration, or other management related field.

· 5 years documentation management experience and a demonstrated understanding of the Army munitions requirement process.

· Project management work experience desired.
