The Conflicts Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Conflict team with all functions associated with the conflict check and case intake process. Responsibilities also include assistance with various projects undertaken by the Legal team, at the direction of the General Counsel.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Provide first level responses and support to incoming requests from the Conflict shared mailbox.
Update and maintain a list of Conflict team deadlines and projects.
Conduct due diligence and research on new cases and leads. Research company and case information, such as annual reports, news articles, corporate affiliates, and product information using Lexis, Bloomberg Law, and federal and state court websites.
Update existing case information based on new docket information and updates from consultants.
Using Intapp Open, enter and organize relevant case and lead information and prepare written case summaries.
Run reports from Intapp Open to respond to various inquiries.
Create additional cases to support experts in existing litigation.
Perform general data entry.
Using Intapp Walls and Intapp Teams, ensure consultants get access to case information.
Provide general support to Walls administrator.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 2 years of substantive relevant work experience required. An ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience.
Prior work experience in the professional services industry preferred.
Research skills preferred – Lexis, Bloomberg Law, Pacer, CourtLink, etc.
An ideal candidate can accommodate working 9am - 6pm PST (12pm-9pm ET).
Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel.
Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail.
Works well in team environment.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
