The Program Manager role leads the support of the G-3/5/7 Munitions Management Office (DAMO-TRA). The PM manages program risk, leads client management, oversees profit and loss, manage staff and subcontractors, and help ensure a team of SMEs deliver for the client’s mission needs Internally, the PM will track financial data and help ensure the program is executed successfully within PWS requirements and financial goals. This role will also enable career growth with the opportunity to support business growth, lead personnel management, and take on greater responsibilities as additional contract opportunities arise.
· Provide overall direction of program activities. Manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer’s organization.
· Consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations.
· Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show the progress of projects to management and customers, organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates, oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and assume the initiative and
provide support to marketing personnel in identifying and acquiring potential business. Coordinate with the contracting organization’s program office to enable timely problem resolution.
· Report the status of all work performed under this PSOW, including, but not limited to all work orders, software and hardware purchases and license payments.
· Develop and maintain a Master Work Breakdown Schedule (WBS) consistent
· Develop and maintain a Master Project Schedule that integrates all tasks into a master plan aligned with the Master WBS. The WBS should be traceable to each identified task in the Team Foundation Server.
· Assume the management of the existing Master Project Schedule that documents the tasks, start dates, end dates, durations, predecessors, successors, and resources required to execute the program of work.
· Properly align staffing requirements.
· Manage stakeholder expectations and be the lead client relationship manager for the program
· Lead personnel and subcontractor management
· Prepare Monthly Status Reports
· Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies
Required:
· Bachelor degree in an IT-related discipline
· PMP certification or Corporate PM certification.
· At least 15 years of relevant experience in DoD information technology project management, with at least five years leading a project of similar size and complexity.
· Experience and understanding of Army and/or Marine Corps munitions management practices is essential.
· Minimum two years’ experience managing a DevSecOps project; prefer four years of experience working within a DevSecOps environment to include tools and methodologies
· Ability to develop and maintain a Project Management Plan and Integrated Master Schedule
· Demonstrated experience managing client relationships
· Demonstrated success in the full spectrum of project management, including P&L, personnel and performance management, risk management, organic growth
· Experience supporting company’s CMMI and/or ISO process
· Possess an active Secret Clearance
