Overview

The Pilot Team is responsible for coordinating small production runs to test systems and readiness of new products for manufacturing. This position will be responsible for coordinating pilot part inventory and to support pilot planning readiness.

Responsibilities

Coordinate pilot part movement throughout the manufacturing validation process, keeping part revisions and inventory levels accurate.

• Maintain pilot part inventories 
• Ensure pilot parts are moved physically and in the system to support trial expectations 
• Maintain pilot part revision control 
• Maintain a clean and organized pilot zone  
• Ensure parts are clearly labeled during the pilot process 
• Communicate trial requirements and status with affected parties to achieve trial goals 
• Set up Pilot Zone area for Beta build events 

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience/Education:

• Working knowledge in production processes preferred.   
• Experience reading and interpreting part prints preferred 
• Material management / inventory control experience preferred 
• ERP (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Suite skills  
• High school diploma or equivalent required  
• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain preferred 

Skills and Abilities:

• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Physical Requirements:

• Position involves walking multiple miles per day
• Minimal lifting, stooping and bending
