Description:

· Perform Inspection functions including but not limited to: QA Releasing, Dimensional Inspection, Romer Scanning, Gage Lab Operations and Fab/Weld/Upgrade Operations.

· Develop, modify and document quality procedures in response to customer specifications and quality plans.

· Assist in mapping of all fabricated assemblies to meet quality and traceability requirements.

· Provide expertise to other WC departments in metrology, statistical control and quality planning.

· Investigate root causes and corrective actions of customer complaints and returns, as well as determine solutions and generate preventive action reports for customers.

· Review and interpret customer drawings and specifications in cooperation with engineers and other WC staff.

· Resolve quality compliance problems in collaboration with other WC departments and coordinating compliance resolution efforts.

· Perform quality review and release of repaired castings.

· Function as a backup for the Weld Coordinator as necessary.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Associate degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience preferred.

· Minimum 3 years of quality assurance experience.

· Demonstrated Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) knowledge.

· Demonstrated knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel spreadsheets.

· Demonstrated logical and systematical thinking, interpersonal, communication and writing skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
