For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $96,000 - $144,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What will you do?

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will play a crucial role in managing the development and improvement of manufacturing processes. Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting experiments, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, materials, and lean manufacturing principles. This includes conferring with equipment vendors, soliciting observations from operators, quality engineering, and customer feedback.

  • Collaborates with design team to ensure products are optimized for manufacturability, quality, and balancing functionality, cost, and production efficiency.

  • Contributing member in the development of new product introduction (NPI).

  • Continuously identifies areas of improvement through analysis of manufacturing operations, including, but not limited to, workflow planning, space requirements, personnel requirements, equipment layout, time studies, first time through performance, and scrap percentage to reduce cost, improve, and optimize productivity and quality.

  • Assures product and process quality by establishing work instructions, process capabilities, designing finished- product testing methods, and validating manufacturing processes through pilot builds

  • Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs, reviewing production schedules, and estimating future requirements.

  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

  • Provides data-driven manufacturing engineering information when responding to internal and external inquiries and maintain resolution documentation.

  • Implements manufacturing tests such as Hi-Pot and maintain compliance to agency (cULus, IEC, CE, and others as required) and applicable government regulations.

  • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions, established procedures, and requesting outside services.

  • Maintains product and process database by ensuring the documentation is up to date and stored in a central repository.

  • Trains production personnel as needed on flow manufacturing concepts, new equipment and processes, and data collection and usage.


What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • B.S. in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering required

  • 3-5 years of experience in related field

  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects from design concept to final production

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Strong understanding of electro-mechanical components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2015)

  • Proficiency in using various testing and measurement equipment for electro-mechanical products

  • Experience in conducting performance or reliability testing

  • Experience in lean operations including problem solving techniques; Root Cause - 5 Why, PFMEA, 6 Sigma

  • Proven history of analyzing data and statistics to improve industrial processes.

  • Experience in automated systems a plus

  • Ability to read and write detailed work instructions, technical drawings, reports, business correspondence, and effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and/or external sources

  • Strong organizational, communication, leadership, continuous improvement, and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with colleagues at all levels

Physical Requirements/Abilities (If necessary)

While performing the duties of this role, the employee will regularly sit for extended periods; stand talk and hear in person and by telephone; and use hands to operate, finger, handle and feel office equipment and documentation; and reach with hands and arms. Hands and fingers frequently perform repetitive motion. Occasionally the employee will use arms and hands to balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk, climb, stoop or bend and lift up to 25 pounds. This position requires close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
