Job Summary
Greets and directs patrons at events.
Creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Monitors guest ingress and egress, seating guests, and assessing and resolving minor guest concerns.
Assists with crowd management and line control.
Ensure safe and memorable guest experiences.
Assists guests with complaints or concerns; escalate concerns to supervisor when necessary.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Enrolled as a student at Indiana University
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferred
Prior sales or customer service experience

Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Ability to interact and communicate with a wide variety of people

Working Conditions / Demands
The person in this position must have the ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time and move through a multi-level facility. The person in this role must be able to move up to 10 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without accommodations.

Advertised Salary
$11.50 per hour
Additional increases are available based on performance and experience.
Work Hours
Up to 29 hours per week, depending on events schedule (this includes other IU positions).
Shift times vary, with the ability to create your own schedule.
This job often requires working in the evenings and weekends.
