We are seeking a Senior Account Supervisor (SAS) to join our growing Technology team to help us realize this vision and drive our industry forward. A great SAS for the Edelman Technology team is someone who deeply understands the technology sector, knows how to reach a variety of media audiences, and has an appetite to own and drive integrated communications campaigns.

This is no ordinary technology role - we're looking an SAS who loves to drive strategy, content planning, product launch execution and more. We want someone who has enterprise tech experience - particularly in cloud and semiconductor - and is immersed in the ever-evolving AI landscape. The role:

You will develop product- and corporate-centric strategies on behalf of some of the top technology clients. You will master Edelman's various processes/approaches, messaging and narrative development, product launches, influencer campaigns, and stakeholder mapping exercises and be able to support integrated teams in the execution of these processes for clients. You will be responsible for the supervision of account work performed by junior staff, demonstrating the ability to manage up, as well as manage across with peers and mentor account team members. Most of all, you'll be extremely skilled at juggling multiple projects and stakeholders at once while ensuring high-quality deliverables within fast timelines.

Responsibilities:


    • Help lead operational and financial performance of account teams, delivering quality work and effective processes and ensuring that client requests are handled in a timely and strategic fashion

    • Strategically advise clients on communications strategies to drive impactful results

    • Liaise with colleagues across specialties and disciplines to successfully complete integrated projects

    • Drive the development and execution of launch strategies for products and campaigns

    • Oversee the development of messaging and executive talking points

    • Lead integrated campaign measurement and reporting, ensuring insights are used to inform strategy and demonstrate impact

    • Proactively counsel clients on messaging and engagement in topics

    • Demonstrate very advanced writing skills and supervise writing of others

    • Lead junior staff by mentoring, motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, holding them accountable, conducting reviews, and overseeing their professional development

    • Lead new business development and RFP responses

Basic Qualifications:


    • A Bachelor's degree

    • At least 5 years of experience in communications or public relations, preferably in an agency setting

    • Have at least 1-2 years of experience working in the corporate communications space, preferably with technology clients

Preferred Qualifications:


    • Have relationships with tech and business media

    • Have deep understanding of enterprise technology space, with strong preference for semiconductor, AI and cloud knowledge

    • Excellent storytelling skills, and ability to provide sound, level-appropriate counsel with all levels of client contacts

    • Have managed the budgets and team on sizable pieces of business to achieve client goals

    • Have written strategic media plans and a variety of media materials with limited oversight

    • Willingness to travel (within the US and internationally)

    • Proven account management and team leadership skills

    • Solutions-oriented and collaborative mindset

    • Must be based in Dallas, Texas

$80,000 - $120,000 a year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
