Responsibilities


Position Summary

The EFB Program Manager (PM) will manage the daily administration, trouble­shooting, and support of PSA's EFB iPad program. The EFB PM will work with AA’s EFB PM and software engineers to ensure appropriate levels of support and guidance are provided to PSA’s 2000 iPad EFB users. As the DCM Administrator, JeppFD-Pro Administrator, and iPad Manager, this position supports the Flight Operations department and front-line pilots through the management of these critical flight support software and hardware. In addition, the EFB PM will advise Senior Leaders as to strategic development opportunities and support needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with AA IT and AA Finance team(s) for sustainment of the EFB program and refresh when applicable
  • Maintain document control management (DCM) tool ensuring Flight Operations has manuals and communications delivered accurately and timely
  • Responsible for Comply DCM functionality and perform duties as a site admin
  • Participate in the AAG EFB Governance Board
  • Participate in AAG Stratix QBRs
  • Respond to EFB user calls/emails for troubleshooting
  • Monitor ongoing FAA regulatory compliance of EFB program
  • Collect user feedback and track trends for program modification
  • Work with AA EFB Managers and third-party vendor to ensure quality and stock of EFBs and associated equipment
  • Manage deployment and operational testing of Application and iOS updates for PSA
  • Coordinate with AAG on enterprise wide deployments and testing
  • Responsible for EFB Loaner policies and procedures
  • Work with Flight Ops Training to assist with development of training materials for new and updated applications
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Position Specifics


Qualifications

Required

  • Experience with Apple iPad iOS
  • Experience with Jeppesen digital charting software (JeppFD-Pro)
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with telephone conferencing and email communication
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English
  • If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred

  • Associates degree or higher
  • Experience with a DCM (Document Control Manager) as a Site Administrator
  • Experience working with SOTI or a similar mobile device management control tool

Additional Information

Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to Fleet Manager.

Supervisory Responsibility: This is a supervisory position.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
